Claire—now retired and working as a therapy dog.
n
Claire is my first champion, and how much fun we have had on our journey together.
She completed her championship in 3 back-to-back majors at Blackfoot, Idaho. What a great weekend that was. Claire is a very sweet, gentle, intelligent girl. She has that wonderful quintessential lab temperament. Claire has found her niche as a therapy dog. She didn’t mind showing, but she loves the attention and companionship found when people make much of her. Her rock, solid temperament makes her a perfect dog to bring comfort—she gets along with everyone and I can depend on her. She also has her Canine Good Citizen, and is waiting to compete in her Rally Novice completion—on hold because of Covid. Claire is very skilled at catching-- when it comes to treats—they almost never hit the ground.
